Caring for the Caregiver

The Caregiver Respite Service is an in-home service delivered by professional Personal Support Workers and/or companions, trained to provide assistance with personal care, meal preparation, shopping/outings, social interaction and more.  This service provides a temporary break for caregivers from the stress and ongoing responsibility associated with caring for a loved one with memory loss, Alzheimer's Disease or related dementia. 

 

Eligible clients may be able to receive 2 - 6 hours of respite per week. There is a nominal fee for this service.  Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
